Herff Christiansen is a collaboration between two women — inspired by the urban landscape of Austin. Their seemingly disparate sensibilities have fused to create a collection of affordable, architectural fashion pieces that both live in the moment and transcend time. Herff Christiansen’s first hero piece - an angular French-Terry take on the ubiquitous tank - was hailed by elite press. Soon the brand was at home in shops across the country and abroad. But more than simple acclaim — community, authenticity and a penchant for Austin are what keep Herff Christiansen creating and setting their fans’ hearts afire.
THE LOOK
Simple, architectural shapes set the tone and are punctuated with linear details. Cotton and canvas provide a clean, understated backdrop. Stormy tonal shades create a seamless connection from collection to collection. Wear last year’s design with today’s and seasonality falls by the wayside when thoughtfulness and longevity rule. The overall effect is of interchangeable pieces: wearing one alone is chic, but layering allows your individual poetry to speak. That is the thing about this in-the-moment house — when you are the product of a major film publicist and a marketing guru, glamour and a no-nonsense sensibility can be found in equal measure and both be the better for it.
THE WORDS
Longevity. Authenticity. Simplicity. Love. Intelligence. Connectivity. Expression. Positivity. Life.

eyes shining all around. On nights like this, inspiration flies by like tunes."
Christiansen

Herff
"We are interested in the detail - the way a cotton is harvested, how it varies each season… We
may infuse the line with other fabrics, but we keep coming back to the basics - what is real, authentic and durable."
